First, I just want to say this remote worked just fine with one exception, the “go back” button did not work. It occurred to me that I should have checked the model number of the original remote that the dog chewed up before buying this model. Take the battery cover off the back side of the remote and look for the Model Code number. That’s the model you need for your particular Samsung Smart TV. All that said, I did ask the question on Amazon about it working with my tv and the answer was yes from a couple of previous product purchasers/reviewers.
Bottom line: Check that model code number on the inside of the remote where the batteries are before making your purchase to make sure you get the absolutely correct remote for your tv.
