My neighbor has one of these things which is why I purchased mine. I have an elderly mother with dementia, so part of the reason I got this was to review her activities when she went outside, and the doorbell sometimes frightens her. Also, I wanted some additional security.
The motion detector is pretty sensitive, so there was a period of adjustment. My home’s front door faces the street without obstruction so large vehicles, like delivery trucks/vans or school busses driving past will trigger the motion sensor.
I love the app! The neighborhood alerts are very informative. I was also amused and impressed when, one day, I was away from home and was able to view my sister drop something off at the front door.
What I am not sure about is that because I have the device hardwired to the home, does it make this part of the property?
I very much recommend this product. So pleased with it.
